In 2007 a teenager from Washington was in the news for being a fugitive. His name is Colton Harris-Moore and he managed to elude police through a bunch of crimes involving stolen cars, boats, and even airplanes. He was known as the "Barefoot Bandit" because he rarely wore shoes while committing these crimes.
