Francisco Oropesa, the man accused of killing five people in an "execution-style" shooting Friday night, is in the country illegally and remains at large. Oropesa has been deported previously and re-entered the country illegally "multiple times." Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of Homeland Security, admitted that our immigration system is broken. However, when he was asked to define a "secure border," Mayorkas gave an incredibly pathetic answer. Until we secure the border, we will continue to see more of this. Ryan Webb, an Indiana councilman, came out as a "woman of color," making him the first lesbian councilwoman to ever be elected to the council. If this sounds foolish, that's because it is.
