Parents & Addicts in Need’s Founder Flindt Andersen and Jason LaChance sat-down with Big Vision NYC founder, Eve Goldberg. After Eve's 23-year old son, Isaac died of an accidental drug overdose; she was motivated to help save young lives. One year later, in January 2015, Eve founded BIGVISION in New York City with a nationwide mission. Isaac Goldberg Volkmar and his initials, IGV, are placed in the center of the BIGVISION name. Eve is committed to helping young adults in recovery learn to live fun, meaningful, sober lives by providing entertaining, engaging events and building a community where the BIGVISION “family” can hang out in a cool, hip, substance-free environment.

We talk with Eve about the importance of creating an environment that offers the recovering addict connectivity. How she saw first hand with her some that marijuana isn't a benign drug and led to issues for her son right away. As well we talk about various societal and internal factors that impact all of us and for some can be part of the gateway into substance use, abuse and full blown addiction.
