Humble Surrender to God In the Same Way of Jesus: Devotional Bible Study of Psalm 123
 
Psalm 123 showcases a humble posture before God as the psalmist asks God to intervene and help.  In the New Testament, we see Jesus display His humility as He serves people and serves God.  Today’s devotional helps us recognize this aspect of humility as we surrender to God, even when we don’t understand.

What are some ways you resist surrendering fully to God?  How does the example of humility we see in this psalm, as well as the example of Jesus impact your heart today?  Are there situations or emotions that you are resisting handing over?  Why do you think that is?  Spend some time allowing the Lord to work in your heart in this area today.
