Description
Season Six of "Heart to Heart with Anna" is all about Carpe Diem -- Seizing the Day. In this episode we'll learn about a remarkable congenital heart defect (CHD) Survivor who was born in the 1950s. Being born with tetralogy of Fallot in the 1950s could have been a death sentence but instead Jim Larson was a pioneer. One of the early survivors of what was commonly referred to as "blue baby syndrome," Jim Larson was operated on by the most promising up-and-coming doctors in the United States and instead of dying young, as so many other children did who were born with that heart defect in that time, Jim survived and even thrived. Tune in to hear how he learned to "seize the day" and what advice he has for others born with heart defects or any other kind of chronic illness. In this clip, Anna thanks listeners of "Heart to Heart with Anna" and asks them to keep the comments on the podcast episodes coming!Support the showAnna's Buzzsprout Affiliate LinkBaby Blue Sound CollectiveSocial Media Pages:Apple PodcastsFacebookInstagramMeWeTwitterYouTubeWebsite
