Things got off to an inauspicious start for the Twins on Thursday as Kenta Maeda departed after two innings following taking a line drive off his ankle. From there, Emilio Pagan completely unraveled and the Twins ultimately fell to the Red Sox, 11-5.
The Red Sox take the series 2-1, with the Twins heading home to take on the Washington Nationals for three in a weekend set at Target Field.
