He looks at how the Jekyll & Hyde aspect was too much to overcome and why it felt like the Penguins would get up for some games but also decide to not fully play in other games. After that, he dives into the finishing problem that the Penguins had and why a good chunk of it comes down to poor roster construction. Even so, he looks at how there was a stark difference between the top six and the rest of the lineup. Hunter pleads for the new management to add more pure finishers to the lineup so that they can take the pressure off the core players next season while also making an argument for the defensive core to be more involved next season. Finally, Hunter looks at why the Penguins could never get a timely save when they needed to from their goalies and why that really doomed them as the season went on.
