We often witness Hashem's hand in the extraordinary and unexpected. We are reminded of the milestones that G-d has performed and continues to perform for us daily. The splitting of the Red Sea is one such momentous event - when it would seem impossible to escape from an enemy advancing upon them, G-d parted the sea so they could march through safely on dry land. The Torah speaks of how miraculous salvation happens even quicker than the blink of an eye (Shmot 14:30). It was "in a split second," as Rashi puts it, that Hashem saved Am Yisrael from specific danger. This highlights two important points about our relationship with G-d. First, Hashem always provides us with salvation and support when needed. And second, Hashem's power is dynamic and instantaneous - our prayers are answered in a split second by an omnipotent force. We must never forget the miracles that G-d has done for us in our lives, those of generations past and those yet to come. We can take comfort in knowing that no matter what challenges or obstacles arise on our journey through life, Hashem will be there at every step to lend us aid and guidance.
