The Salty Nerds watch The Wandering Earth, a movie that ignores science so much it's insulting. In what is meant to be a fun, science fiction adventure film, we get one ridiculous scenario after another. Basically a full-fledged Chinese propaganda film based on a similarly propagandistic novel, the movie is about the sun going supernova so the Earth's population builds a bunch of engines to move the planet to a whole new solar system. And hilarity ensues.

This movie was so dumb, the Salty Nerds had to invite a real astrophysicist, Dr. Thomas Targett, to come on and explain why this movie has no idea what science is.
