According to government data, it is also an issue affecting more women in their senior years than men. Journalist Moira Welsh, author of “Happily Ever Older: Revolutionary Approaches to Long-Term Care,” joins the podcast to discuss her latest story. It is part “The Third Act,” a Toronto Star partnership with the National Institute On Ageing that pushes Canada to do better for its older adults.
