Description
With the release of the revised USP guidance, it is important to revisit some of the basics of sterile compounding. The Section of Inpatient Care Practitioner’s SAG on Compounding Practice has developed a three-part series that will cover differing definitions of compounding, beyond use dates (BUDs), and extended stability. In this first episode of the series, listeners will review some of the definitions of compounding, how different regulating bodies define compounding, and how best to interpret these definitions in daily practice.
