Description

Our guest today is director and cinemaphotographer Edwin P. Stevens. Edwin joins the Brett Allan Show to discuss his new project, "Alice Is Still Dead" a true crime story based on events that occurred in his real life with his sister. Edwin breaks down why he chose to tell his sisters story, and how it helped with the grieving process and helped him move forward after her death.
Born and raised in Kennebunk, Maine, Edwin graduated Colorado College with an English degree. Upon graduation, he started working with his current mentor, acclaimed documentary filmmaker Doug Pray. Through their partnership, Edwin has gone on to work on a variety of high-profile projects as a cinematographer, including HBO’s “The Defiant Ones,” and the 2013 documentary “Levitated Mass” on LACMA’s iconic 340-ton granite boulder. He has worked on a variety of indie features, including “Downeast,” “Film Fest, “Hunting Lands,” ”and “Dark Harbor,” starring Joel McHale.
