Description

The crew has gone dark for the majority of the past 2 weeks between their vacations and current events. We touch super quickly on the state of the word before moving on into what everyone has been wathcing while we've been away and quite a bit on what HBO Max has become now that its out.
Finally after 17 episodes we have a comedy movie to talk about! Netflix bought The Lovebirds for us all during corona so we did not have to wait to see it in theatres.

Join the Critically Aroused crew on a journey of free thought as they develop a refreshing film criticism counter-culture where its okay to disagree with out-of-touch film critics. The divide between movie critics and general audiences seems to grow more every day and its time someone put it under a microscope. Are critics too politically driven, too close to the industry, or just too disconnected to relate? Maybe it’s all of the above and then some, and they are determined to find out! Get controversial and dissect tomato scores week to week with host Blaine Andrews and fellow movie lovers Chris Cowles and Matt Verlaque as they hypocritically review the latest in film and TV while attempting to predict, discuss, & critique the overall critical response.
