Description

Feminist Question Time with speakers from Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Germany

Women's Declaration International (WDI) Feminist Question Time is our weekly online webinars. It is attended by a global feminist and activist audience of between 200-300. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. You can see recordings of previous panels on our YouTube Channel. WDI is the leading  global organisation defending women’s sex-based rights against the threats posed by gender identity ideology. There is more information on the website womensdeclaration.com where you will find our Declaration on Women’s Sex-based rights, which has been signed by more 30,000 people from 157 countries and is supported by 418 organisations.

This week’s speakers:

Laura Lecuona and Silvia Carassco - Mexico and Spain
Gender Identity - Lies and Dangers (New book by Laura Lecuona) - A discussion about the new book - in Spanish with interpretation into English. To buy Laura’s book please write to: disentirnoesodio@gmail.com

Zuleyka Valentin Arroyo - Puerto Rico
Unconstitutional policies regarding "gender identity" in Puerto Rico - Activists, educators and organizations in Puerto Rico have been promoting gender ideology under the guise of having a "gendered perspective" about the issues that perpetuate violence towards women. Executive orders, police policy and labor laws have been adjusted to include regulations on how to accommodate people based on their "gender identity". These new policies go against the Constitution of Puerto Rico, specifically Art. 1 & 2. There is a push to implement a "gender perspective" based education curriculum but conservative sectors have been vocal against gender ideology in schools. There is also a small group of transactivists that are pushing to allow "gender affirmative care" for minors.
Bio: Born and raised on the Western coast of Puerto Rico, now living in Florida. Volunteers for WDI USA. Found radical feminism during her undergraduate studies. Completed a master's in Sexual Education. Having a radical feminist perspective about human sexuality has helped her understand the threat gender ideology poses to healthy sexual education.

Movimiento Feminista Madrid - Spain
MFM is a group focused on women's rights. We organise and are dedicated to political work and actions in Madrid. - The upcoming demonstration taking place in Madrid on the 8th of March for women's rights and against the SelID law that has been recently approved in the country.

Roxie Radical - Germany
my story as a survivor and also share my experience and expertise on all things porn and bdsm industry and culture. - A little run through of my story and what I experienced in the industry
Bio: Roxie Roots is a trauma survivor of CSA who ended up in the sex trade after a lifelong struggle of not fitting in. She got out by realising the abusive patterns of relationships, BDSM&kink, the sex industry and the trans industry were all the same. She has experienced herself how pornography shapes and fuels our culture.
