On 12 November 1976, 36 year old Renee MacRae and her three year old son, Andrew, left Inverness for a trip to visit Renee’s sister. About 10pm that evening Renee’s car was discovered ablaze in a lay-by 12 miles outside of Inverness, Renee and Andrew had vanished. Despite many years of searching Renee and Andrew have never been found, and the case had remained unsolved.
