Opening in 1978, Hotel of Terror is one of the longest continuously-operating haunt attractions in the United States. The building is also a historic building, built in 1912 and was the Texas Hotel. Hotel of Terror now faces an eminent domain challenge by the City of Springfield, Missouri which threatens its continued operation.
