Oil and gas producers and service companies have been reporting their fourth-quarter earnings over the past few weeks. And, apart from the headline-grabbing record profits, we’ve seen some common themes and concerns emerge. While companies have generally been more optimistic as far as inflation and bottlenecks go, they also continue to express concerns about underinvestment.
