After twelve days off, the Nashville Predators returned to the ice against the Vegas Golden Knights and played one of their worst games of the season. Despite Matt Duchene's early goal, the Preds couldn't find their groove and lost 5-1. Is this struggle to "shake off the rust" on head coach John Hynes or on core players like Duchene, Ryan Johansen, and Roman Josi?

The Predators hoped to continue their winning ways after the extended All Star break but quite the opposite happened last night at Bridgestone Arena. Nashville struggled to get shots on net, executed poorly, and allowed five different Vegas players to score five goals in a disappointing return to play.
