It's day 2 of our Sundance/Slamdance Film Festival coverage and today we're sharing three very different, yet powerful Slamdance narrative films. Joined again by our friend & Park City cohort, John Wildman of FilmsGoneWild.com. Mascot follows a frustrated young man whose dangerous actions are endangering not only himself, but his whole family. Director Remy van Heugten shares how this film was an expression of his fear for the younger generation and  the long term effects that our society will have on them.The Underbug is a thriller (that won the Slamdance Grand Jury Award for Best Breakout Feature Film) based in India that shows what happens when two untrusting strangers meet in the midst of country-wide riots and violence. Director Shujaat Saudagar and star Ali Fazal share how they were not only able to make this film during the peak of the quarantine, but it also helped them cope with the trauma of the moment.Waiting for the Light To Change is a coming of age film about a group of twenty somethings trying to process life while on a weeklong beach getaway. We had a big group for this one!
