Description
Two weeks down, two left to go. We have reached the wild and wacky midway point in the Alberta election campaign.
The second week was even crazier than the first.
NDP activists and their proxies in the left-leaning media are oozing desperation. This week, NDPers protested proposed UCP changes to GSA laws that would bring Alberta in-line with nine other provinces in Canada.
The changes if implemented, would allow teachers to use their discretion to notify parents if their child joins a gay-straight alliance support group. The current law prohibits parental notification under any circumstances.
There was only one reporter at the astro-turf protest bringing you the other side of the story. And he was harassed and abused by a so-called “anti-bullying” tolerance mob, catching all of it on camera.
There is only one reporter asking Notley hard questions about her alleged drug-abusing cabinet Minister Deron Bilous, and only one reporter tracking down failed Education Minister David Eggen to ask him about Alberta’s failing test scores.
Of course, I’m talking about my Calgary based Rebel colleague, Keean Bexte.
Keenan joins me tonight in an interview we recorded yesterday to look back at the first half of Notley’s last campaign as Premier of Alberta.
P.S. To get your copy of Stop Notley: The Case For Throwing Out The NDP, and to sign up to get your very own orange lawn sign to help promote my book - because you know the mainstream media won’t give it any coverage - go to StopNotley.com.
