Description

John LaCroix is a Boston hardcore legend. On this episode, we discuss: the formation and legacy of Ten Yard Fight, booking DIY shows in Boston in the mid-90s, coming up in the Merrimack Valley in Massachusetts with bands like Converge, Cave In, & Piebald, starting National Edge Day at their farewell show on 10/17/1999, the legend of kids in the hardcore scene selling "Yankees Suck" T-shirts, touring in Europe, traveling to Japan and Bangkok for martial arts tournaments, forming a band with the original lineup of what became the band Terror, his decision to no longer be "straight edge", and much more. This episode also features cameos from Jake Brennan (Cast Iron Hike, Disgraceland Podcast) and Kurt Ballou (Converge).
