Kevin Shipton is a former active duty artillery officer that still serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserves (USMCR). This is in addition to his full-time job as a police officer in California. Shipton is a combat veteran and has served with 10th Marines, 6th Marines, 1st ANGLICO, and 3D ANGLICO. In this episode, we discuss life in the USMCR compared to active duty and how Shipton felt about that transition. We also talk about his career path after the Marines that led to him being a law enforcement officer in California.
