Alastair Reed is a cool guy making great wines with his mate Sam. In between seemingly flippant discussion, Al drops a lot of knowledge. Striking to me is the fact that Kilmore in Victoria should not only be a stand-alone region but quite possibly should be considered one of the best in Victoria.
Al also puts forward a robust case for why we all should drink more wine from Queensland. A point with which I agree.
Konpira Maru says the wines are minimal intervention, maximum care. But they miss the tag supremely drinkable.
