I have picked up rocket league yet because don’t have a chance to play yet but in comparison to MK8 online. When ever me and my daughter play together split screen online we just use our profile names so like I am the only one with Nintendo account. My daughter as a child account linked to mine and her own user name while my wife just has a user name although she really not a gamer. Sorry email long but player is the main user online and then you pick the other user name.
