With 2022 coming to an end, what better time to take a moment to look back at some of the more memorable moments of the past year and the NHL. Alex Ovechkin getting to 800 goals, the megadeal between the Calgary Flames and Florida Panthers, and the Ironman record that was broken not once, but twice. Also the day three NHLers decided to hang up their skates (Chara, Subband and Yandle).
We also look ahead to 2023. We are all waiting patiently to see who wins the Conor Bedard sweepstakes. How far behind will Ovechkin be to Gretzky's goals record, and will the Seattle Kraken be able to punch a ticket to the playoffs after a miserable expansion season.
