Frank Lotito is an award winning director / producer known for Australian film Big Mamma’s Boy, US films The Lookalike starring Justin long and Festival darling, Growing Up Smith starring Jason Lee. Originally an actor/comedian from Melbourne, Australia. Frank has kept busy on both sides of the camera acting, writing and producing for over 20 years. Frank has produced a number of feature films, including Big Mamma's Boy, which he wrote and starred in, The Lookalike, starring Justin Long and Jerry O'Connell, When the Starlight Ends starring Sam Heughan, Broken Ghost directed by Richard Gray and Growing Up Smith, starring Jason Lee, which is also Frank's directorial debut. Growing Up Smith premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2015 and has gone to win numerous awards including -Winner Jury Award for Best Family Feature - Garden State Film Festival 2016, Winner Comcast Narrative Jury Award for Best Feature and Best of the Fest -Seattle International Film Festival to name a few. ..It was also nominated Time Magazine's Movie of the Week.
Frank is currently writing and developing other projects and is attached to direct, romantic comedy Unexpectedly, Milo written by Mark Andrus (As Good As It Gets) and produced by Lee Stollman (The Maze Runner). The Dons, based on a popular Australian book and Our Frankie, a romantic drama set in Australia in the 1950s.
Frank recently wrapped on production, directing the third instalment of The box office smash hit The Wog Boy movie franchise - Wog Boys Forever.
