We knew this day was coming and it still hit me like a shotgun in the chest. The day when we found out that forever Longhorn Bijan Robinson was declaring for the NFL Draft. Some fans had convinced themselves that he had unfinished business and would return to the 40 acres to run it back with Quinn Ewers and Xavier Worthy. Some said the Biletnikoff would inspire him to come back to Texas. Some said the radio silence was definitely a sign he was coming back. Then we found out what we had already known. Bijan was gone. Losing a player like Bijan to the NFL hurts, but losing the person hurts worse. On the field he was a legend, but off the field he was as great as an ambassador for the University of Texas as you could ask for. It's going to be a pleasure to watch him at the next level. Demarvion Overshown, our defensive leader, is headed to the draft as well. For four years, we watched him switch positions and develop into somebody who truly represented us well on the defensive side of the ball.
