Description

In this special episode, James is joined by La Toya Jamieson, chair of the Australasian Conservation Dog Network (ACDN) Competency Committee to discuss the development and launch of the Network's new Team Evaluation Guidelines. Our logo represents what we believe to be the most important pillar of working as part of a conservation dog field team:DOG AND MAN WORKING TOGETHER IN TRUE PARTNERSHIPWe took our inspiration from that time, tens of thousands of years ago and just prior to domestication, where ancient man and wolf hunted collaboratively for mutual benefit - neither one in control of the other. With this in mind, we commissioned amazing artist @ettore.mazza to design our logo.We hope it resonates with all of you out there who love partnering with dogs as we travel across wild spaces in search of the vital data and understanding that we need to support global conservation efforts.Conservation K9 Training supports the sharing of knowledge and best practice within the conservation dog industry through our Podcast, Training Camps and International Clinics, and by partnering, mentoring and collaborating with researchers and dog teams around the world. For more information please email team@conservationk9training.com
