In the recent weeks since the Supreme Court issued a decision in Dobbs v. Jackson, there have been widespread media reports of patients experiencing new barriers to access to medication therapies that are seemingly unrelated to reproductive health care or abortion services. During this podcast, we are going to explore the basis of these reports, provide background on the current status of state and federal laws governing access to abortion services, and discuss potential implications for pharmacist practice and patients’ access to medications.
