Description

This is absolutely infuriating. On Sunday, the New York Times released an explosive new report detailing how thousands of children all over the country are being enrolled into the JROTC without their permission. These kids are literally showing up at school, getting their schedules, and finding out that they've been signed up for the military against their wishes. And it's happening almost exclusively in predominantly Black schools.

Then, when kids and their families request that their kids be released from the program, they are refused. It's all outrageous. And we are learning this just weeks after the American military admitted that kids all over the country are being molested and sexually assaulted by ROTC leaders.

Heads need to roll. People need to go to jail.

And here's what I know. They'd never pull this shit at white schools. Or in rich zip codes. Or at private schools. They are doing this where they thing they will be able to get away with it.I have a lot to unpack and explain.
