Description
To design with empathy, there is a need to train the architect, architectural designers, interior designers, property developers, contractors, and those in the construction industry, on accessibility and universal design. It is essential in this day and age, to build knowledge and skills so that they can help themselves and their companies, by understanding the concept of disability and barriers. Environmental and social goals (ESGs) programs are required for corporate social responsibility but for these companies, it is a value proposition that they can not ignore in the property and construction industry. The ability to own the process of designing with empathy is required in the services offered and not merely CSR.
