Description

In the latest episode of The Maritime Podcast, Professional musician turned maritime lawyer Julian Clark explains how he brought together a 60-piece virtual choir to cover Rod Stewart’s Sailing, in honour of recognising every seafarer as a keyworker and to ensure that they are appreciated for their role in enabling global supply chains.  “Seafarers must be recognised as ‘keyworkers’ and given priority access to Covid-19 vaccines,” comments Julian, Senior Partner at Ince, to Seatrade Maritime News Editor, Marcus Hand. In the episode Julian explains to Marcus the importance of recognising seafarers as key workers, so that they can access vaccines which will enable them to return home to see their families and loved ones.   “I have a passion for the rights and welfare of seafarers,” explains Julian Clark, Head Partner, Ince.“If it wasn't for seafarers, none of us would have a job, there'd be nothing on the shelves, and we wouldn't be able to have our clothes or our food or our fuel."
