FeedbackPeter from Melbourne writes in: “one thing that I have found it odd that the show hasn’t grappled with is that it appears that Leia has grown up in what looks like a pretty sheltered and safe life and then suddenly she is surrounded by murder and death… a storm trooper getting slice in half by a laser wall, lots of shooting and fighting and she doesn’t seem to be having any reaction to it at all… do you think this hasn’t been thought about or is the force protecting her? I guess it sets up her reaction to things in films where she seems to have a measured response to death.”
Alex writes in :Given (1) the new theories that each episode parallels a film from the Skywalker Saga, and (2) the interview with Ian McDiarmid at Star Wars Celebration, where he discussed seeing Hayden and Ewan training with lightsabers… …do you think it’s possible that the Emperor will appear in either the 5th or, more likely, the 6th episode (given it’s probable connections to Return of the Jedi and its throne room sequence)?”

You (quite rightly) week after week keep bringing up Kenobi’s relationship to Leia in ANH and pointed out in this episode Leia actually heard ‘Obi-Wan’. You brought this up with Brian who said he’d put a lot of thought into this and her message actually only ever used ‘General Kenobi’. As I’m sure you now have countless emails telling you that her message actually kicks off with one of THE most famous lines in movie history, ‘Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope’.”
