Ugly Men and the Audacity, what a great name for a band. This week was a mess. First the podcast mic did not record, then the camera lighting wasn't right. Then some woman confiscated our hosts eyebrows right off of her face. Then the podcast had to be re-flimed, not once, not twice, but three times. But through it all, Divine kept her cool...ish. This week our host talks about just that, keeping cool when the fire gets hot and rolling with lifes punches. She talks about making the conscious decision to not focus on the bad and to continuously celebrate the good. She mourns her eyebrows. She contemplates bangs. She bargains with God. Just the normal stuff. Our host then launches into the female gaze Tiktok--yes that one. The one with that guy that was later found to be a raging, violent, misogynist? Oh, still confused cuz there are so many? The ugly guy. The one who looks like Mr. Tumnus. Yes, that one. She talks about ugly men and their audacity, where they get it from. How in this patriarchy there will never be an instance where men 'get it" just because they're a little ugo. Why? Because they were raised in this society babe.
