Suzi Ruffell is a comedian, actor and writer. She began her stand-up[ career in 2006 and has been touring extensively ever since. Suzi has regularly appeared on many panel shows including Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Last Leg. Since October 2015,she has co-hosted the podcast Like Minded Friends with comedian Tom Allen and this year she started the podcast Out with Suzi Ruffell.

We began by talking about school and how at times is was extremely challenging for Suzi because of her dyslexia, but also how drama and performing gave her a focus and a distraction and eventually led her to stand-up. Suzi tells us about being dazzled by visiting the West End on a school trip and how that moment was the start of her creative journey.

Everyone has those difficult blank moments sometimes. Whether in your personal life, career, relationship, or in a public situation, writer's block, social anxiety, imposter syndrome, being off-form or having an identity crisis can affect anyone at any time. It's part of the human condition and yet it can throw us off course and make us feel helpless.
