Description
Join us in an interview with one of our clients who got pregnant at 44! Our guest speaker for this week's episode is Jennifer Quist! From our work together: Hormone balance, nutrition, and mindset. All of these directly relate to how we changed our lives - for the better - and created a team around us to help give us the support we needed to see the importance of making such massive changes. She is a 45-year-old mom to a one-year-old little girl, Ruby James! At 43 years old, she was told she had a 1% chance of getting pregnant, that IVF was no longer an option, and that finding a donor egg was the only way to have a baby "at her age." In her heart, she just knew that wasn't the case, and her journey to get pregnant naturally began! She read unlimited books, listened to all the podcasts (including Egg Meets Sperm!), interviewed and worked with NDs, MDs, acupuncturists, nutritionists, endocrinologists, therapists, coaches, healers, mediums, you name it. She and Jennifer's fiance changed their lives in every way to get healthy and make a baby! They got pregnant naturally, not once, but twice. While the first resulted in a miscarriage at 8 weeks, the second gave them Ruby James, born one month shy of her 45th birthday. Through a large piece of this journey, they were lucky enough to find and work with Dr. Aumatma, who not only helped them put all the pieces of the puzzle together but ultimately gave them the foundation and stability to try for a healthy pregnancy. And that's exactly what happened! Jennifer Quist has over two decades of hospitality industry experience in multiple roles, including restauranteur, professional chef, operations director, independent strategist, and business consultant. She is now taking her experience from her personal and professional worlds to start a new business, Wish Well, supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the first year of their little one's life. "Trust the timing and your body. Check your hormones regularly and work with your team to understand them inside and out; what you put into your body (every single thing) matters! But understand the correlation between food and how it impacts your egg quality, hormones, etc. - otherwise, it might be much harder to make such drastic changes". - Jennifer Quist Follow Jennifer Quist on: Instagram: @jenquisty Follow me on: Instagram: @holisticfertilitydoctor TikTok: @holisticfertilitydoctor Youtube: @Holistic Fertility Expert Facebook: Join our private Fertile AF tribe!
