Description
Homer Drew is a former college basketball coach who spent 22 years coaching at Valparaiso and took his program to seven NCAA tournament appearances including a Sweet Sixteen berth in 1998, where his son Bryce hit a buzzer-beater in the first round to upset Ole Miss. Homer's son Scott Drew is the Baylor men's basketball coach and son Bryce is Grand Canyon University's men's basketball coach. In 2019, Homer Drew as elected to the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. Today on the podcast, we talk to Homer Drew about his coaching journey, 25 year reflections on "The Shot," watching his sons coach basketball and why Christ is who he lives for.
