Carson Cheng was working as an actor in Hong Kong when he was scouted by one of his friends and asked to feature on a track she was working on. Tapping into his singing and songwriting skills made him feel free from industry restraints. An odd sequence of events in South Korea changed his life. While staying with a group of friends in what Carson describes as a “weird Airbnb,” he had a revelation. He saw the words “the water knows” scrawled in the warehouse elevator. He then went to a fortune teller who told him “you are water.” KICCC was born.
