"Economy, interest rates, and the U.S. Dollar are seemingly not affecting airline stocks. Holiday airline travel: aggregated web traffic for nine largest U.S. airlines rose 15% in October 2022. Southwest Airlines (LUV) leads the industry in web traffic with 64.2M web visitors in the same time period. Other popular airlines include American Airlines with 53M web visitors, Delta Airlines with 42.7M, and United Airlines with 41.6M," says Jim Corridore.
