She is also clinician-scientist and epidemiologist at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. In their cross-sectional study, Dr. Rodd and her co-author Dr. Atul Sharma found that the prevalence of overweight and obesity among Canadian children decreased from 30.7% to 27.0% between 2004 and 2013, following a period of dramatic growth during 1978–2004.Full research article: https://www.cmaj.ca/lookup/doi/10.1503/cmaj.150854To request a transcript of this podcast, contact cmajgroup@cmaj.caSubscribe to CMAJ Podcasts on Apple Podcasts or your favourite podcast app. You can also follow us directly on our SoundCloud page or you can visit www.cmaj.ca/page/multimedia/podcasts.
