Description

"The thing about Jim, is when he’s excited about something, like the Office Olympics, he gets really into it and he does a really great job. But the problem with Jim is that he works here, so that hardly ever happens."
This week’s episode is dedicated to Big Tuna, Jim/James/Jimothy, basically Gumby with hair, Jim Halpert. We start by talking about his function in the show, how he provides exposition through talking heads and acts as an audience surrogate by breaking the fourth wall. Then we look at his professional and romantic arc, followed his relationships with Pam, Michael, Dwight, and corporate. And of course we highlight all the teapot notes, Dwight pranks, arrogance/smudgeness, and looks to the camera along the way.
After that, we go to our Ordinary Things segment, where we discuss times we were too early for something, like Michael interviewing at corporate, and then we close with a quick round of trivia.
Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
