There may not be a lot to talk about regarding the NBA in August, but LHR has plenty on his mind with both Boston Celtics and NBA topics.  Is one of them contrived? LHR seems to think so, as the primary story regarding the Celtics in August has been on whether or not the franchise should unretire jersies.  The host doesn’t have much to say about that, but it is our Reacht Question of the Week.
But back to NBA talk: Sekou Smith of NBA.com will return to Celtics Beat as today’s guest.  The doldrums are here.  Could that be shortened by lengthening the NBA season? And what else could the league do to cure what little deficiencies the league has?
