Description
Back in the autumn of 2004 Liverpool were in a sticky position, sitting eighth in the Premier League and in a fight to qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League. Ahead of matchday five, away in Monaco, both Milan Baros and Djibril Cisse were out through injury and the injury list was only set to get longer. Luis Garcia lasted just four minutes before being replaced with substitute Josemi also being taken off injured before the game was out. The stage was set for the final group game at home to Olympiakos. Join Guy Clarke and Dan Kay as they retrace the latest steps along the Road to Istanbul away in Monaco. Enjoy.
