Description

Jurgen Klopp was back in front of the media at Melwood this afternoon - and the Liverpool boss cut a relaxed and upbeat figure. Little wonder, with his side top of the Premier League going into this Sunday's visit of Tottenham to Anfield. But his mood could also be down to the positive team news he delivers here on Trent Alexander-Arnold, Xherdan Shaqiri and Joe Gomez. For now, however, he says he plans to keep Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain in the 'shadows'. The Reds boss also speaks passionately and eloquently on the issue of racism following the abuse suffered by England players in their match in Montenegro before talks turn to the Spurs test, the respect he has for his opposite number Mauricio Pochettino, and just how important the win at Wembley in the reverse fixture earlier in the campaign truly was. Klopp is also asked how he and his players are feeling going into the final seven games of what could be an historic league season.
