Description

I'm continuing my Juneteeth special by moving from the 1910s to the 1920s-30s with Rudolph Fisher. Dr. Fisher was a doctor, writer, and speaker during what is known as The Harlem Renaissance Period. His second book The Conjur-Man Dies: A Mystery Tale of Dark Harlem is considered the first crime novel that was written by an African American.
