Andie (Meredith Monroe) calls Joey (Katie Holmes) for help after having an altercation with Rob. After Pacey (Joshua Jackson) shows up to her rescue, she realizes that her plan to get him back might have worked. Meanwhile, Joey is confronted by Rob who pleads his case to her, which makes her question the validity of Andie's story. Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is excited that Gale (Mary Margaret Humes) is back home. But when he finds out the real reason she left Philly, he tells her that Mitch (John Wesley Shipp) might be a good shoulder to lean on.
