While many of us thought that the Los Angeles Angels had their closer locked up for the next few seasons, the Halos opted to move Raisel Iglesias in a salary dump to the Atlanta Braves, where he had an incredible 2nd half. Although it may seem that the curse of the Angels struck once again, Mike and Jon dive into Raisel's numbers with both the Angels and the Braves to figure out what caused him to have so much more success in the NL East.
Then, in 2020, the Angels had the opportunity to hire Dave Dombrowski as their General Manager. With his track record and the success the Philadelphia Phillies are having this season with Dombrowski at the helm, would the Angels have had that same level of success? Mike and Jon discuss if his approach would've put the Angels on a winning path, or if Perry Minasian's approach was the better choice.
