Description

We continue Horrortober Down Under with a look at Razorback, a film that's uniquely Australian and features one of cinema's great menace's: a giant hog. Starring Gregory Harrison as an American who ventures to Australia to track down his missing wife who happened to get eaten by the titular beast, it's a creature feature in the vein of Jaws, but on land. It's a tonal mess that never really decides on a tone and, unfortunately, suffers for it. Pulp Serenade's Cullen Gallagher and DC Titan's writer Richard Hatem joins Chris to talk about the film, why there aren't more hog films, and what to do if 30 to 50 feral hogs invade your land. You can follow Chris Stachiw at @Casualty_Chris and the Kulturecast @kulturecast. The music is Tigerblood Jewel's The Bayou. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here.
