The Conspiracy is the directorial debut from writer/director Christopher MacBride and it sets itself apart from the found-footage/reality horror subgenre by focusing on real-world events along with crafting a believable narrative. It's a unique twist on the found-footage subgenre that works outside of the normal confines of the typical horror film to craft something wholly original, convincing, and terrifying all at the same time.
