Description
It's the first Kulturecast of 2017, and Chris is joined by Wovoka's guitarist Eric Kniss to talk San Francisco, pacing, and serial killers as they analyze David Fincher's Zodiac along with an interview with John Lacy (Zodiac) and Paul Schulze (Sandy Panzarella) at 28:45 and 1:14:00. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr., and Mark Ruffalo as three men drawn into the case that rocked the Bay Area and their shared obsession to find the Zodiac Killer. It's a character-driven look at the toll that serial killers have on those who pursue them.As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw on Twitter at@KultureStach, Sean Liang at @Seannifer and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. The music is Wovoka's "Lament," and big thanks to them for allowing us to use their song. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here.
